Both good kits!

The LIS robot is the old Aurora kit that was reverse engineered. It has the 1966 kits wonkiness but builds very nice!

The WWC ship is a very nice modern kit! If memory serves me, its ABS and some cements don't work well with it. But I could be wrong. I'm sure others here will know.

If you can, post some build threads. I would love to see your progress!

Raced home when lost in space was on. Lost count of the number of robots I made from cardboard boxes and toilet roll tubes. Would be great to see you build this.

I built that kit back in the 60s but don't remember if it had problems, I really wasn't paying much attention to that back then.

I used to watch the show each week but after the first season it started to get old.  Many of the sound effects were used over and over and the monsters had the same qualityh, or lack there of , as used in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.

I also remember seeing comercials for a new show aboiut to start called Star Trek and thinking that at least these guys couild go places.  If you watch the credits for the guest stars the list was impressive.  Michael Ansara, Wally Cox, and Warren Oates (Sgt Hulka).
