ED209 kit announced!

A plastic injection molded kit of the kicking, squealing Enforcer Droid from “Robocop” is coming next year from The Goodsmile Company!  The kit will stand 8” (200mm) high and be articulated.  Price will be around $80 and is expected next February.  The Robocop figure shown in the photos is an in-scale plastic/diecast toy that is being released in January.  At over $100, I’ll wait for a plastic kit of Robo.

I had wondered if Bandai was going to venture into other US sci-fi properties like Robocop, as I would have loved to have a 1/12 scale Robo done to the level of their Star Wars kits.  Imagine what they could do with a Terminator endoskeleton!

That is AWESOME!! Agood friend of mine picked up an old vinyl kit of the ED. He had a blast super detailing, his only gripe is he uses enamales which don't play well with vinyl.

Put me on the list to get one of these beasts.

I just hope they do a plastic kit of Robocop.  At 8” tall, the ED-209 is roughly maybe 1/12 scale, which would allow all kinds of mischief with the 1/12 Bandai Star Wars figures!

Hasegawa doesn’t have a Executive Board Room Meeting Table w/ Chairs in their 1/12 furniture kit series do they?  Stick out tongue
