Ouch those Rattlesnakenadoes and Scorponadoes sound nasty!!!
There's a couple of movies in there!!!

Rattlesnakenadoes; yeah, been there, done that. Lived in Arizona for a few years. You just need to put expanded metal over the windows, easy day. It's the scorpionadoes that suck, those critters get everywhere!
Nice build, looks like it was fun to put together. Well done.
"Why do I do this? Because the money's good, the scenery changes and they let me use explosives, okay?"
Hmmmm sharknadoes are scary! But perhaps being a denizen of the distant future, desert wastlands of the American SW this particular vehicle should be battling RATTLESNAKENADOES
Hey it could happen!

I love the weathered beat-up look you've got going there- fantastic job!!!
Wow - that's really creative. Drop the turbo in it and make it an GNX :)
Thanks,

Posting some work from several years ago hoping it will motivate me to get something new built. Life events including a cross country move put a dent in my already mediocre motivation and productivity at the bench. Now that I finally have a hobby room again it's time to quit making excuses.
Not sure if this should be in the Auto forum but I decided to put it here.
This was a very fun kit bash/scratch build project with a "dystopic future ala Mad Max" theme running through my head. I have ideas for a few more vehicles but have not gotten around to starting any of them. The gatling gun was made from a ballpoint pen cap, aluminum tubing and various bits from the spares box. The "turret" is just sheet styrene trimmed with quarter round and half round from Plastruct. The missle launch rail is made from spares box stuff and Plastruct shapes and the dish antenna was cut from an old mini-blind slat. The cannons protruding through the front fender are pieces of aluminum tubing with the muzzles flared using a carpenter's nail set. Firearms are from the old Dukes of Hazzard cop car (I think). Paint was Tamiya rattle can and all the weathering is ground up artist pastels. The laptop computer and the "mascot" chained to the bumper are G-scale railroad items. The decals were done on Testors decal paper using an ink jet printer and the flat panels, interior equipment faces and topo maps are images found on the internet. I really enjoyed looking around for everyday stuff that could be used in the project and my wonderful wife now asks me if "this would be useful for the hobby room" before tossing things in the trash lol.
