Yeah, I got a Nebula class conversion kit as well. I wasn't to happy with it. It looks great far away, but up close.. nope. There was a lot of clean-up. I had a warped upper sensor pod, and like John P said, put it in boiling water. The only thing is when I tried to cold water dunk it, it cracked as I tried to mold it. So I ended up gluing it, then dunking it in the boiling water, then quickly clamping it. The glue dried and held the thing together, the only part is, unnoticed by me, the glue seeped out and now I have some nasty, googy glue that you can't sand. Watch out for that and also dropping resin (Dropped the nacelles and watched in horror as the thing shattered.) I'm working on the Nebula, an Akira and a Centur. I think I keep Federation Models in bussiness sometimes.

Once you heat it and get it back into shape, dunk it suddenly in cold water to lock the shape.

If it is urethane resin then heating it up in hot water, or with a hair dryer, will relax it and you can bend it back into it's proper shape. If it is polyester resin then there is nothing you can do. I bet your kit is urethane though.

Greetings all! I've got a ST:TNG Nebula class conversion kit that is warped around the nacelle struts. I could really use some advice on how to get it straightened out. BTW, I've got new in-progress pics of a PNT Dreadnaught conversion at my site. Thanks!
