Holy cow...

They are amazing...

I just keep scrolling through them to stare at them in wonder.  Something for me to aspire to.   The ground cover really brings them to life.

I've bumped up the priority of those materials on my wish list.  I admit that I already blew this month's budget for modeling or I would be placing orders now.  Any suppliers/brands you would recommend for things like scale gravel and grass?

Care to share any of the secrets you used while painting them?

I really like the look of the mottling of the skin and how you did the armor.

Thanks! The groundwork is just model railroad ballast and the grass Woodland Scenics static grass. Nothing special- it was on hand so I used it. Probably cost me about ten-fifteen bucks for a lifetime supply. 

The painting was just an Optivisor and a tiny little brush. No real skill just patience and doing a little bit at a time. 

The armour I painted a darker metallic- steel I think and then dry-brushed it with a lighter metallic- silver or aluminum as best I remember.

Lol! It's just going slow and putting away the brush when you eyes start seeing spots (other than the ones you're painting)!
