Weekend Bench Report

Ok fellow modeler...what ya working on this weekend?
Myself? I actually have had a productive weekend...so far. I manage to get some putty and sanding done on my Adam West Batman figure by MojoResin, sanding on Horizon's Indiana Jones, some resin trimming on Wonder Woman and painted my Enemy Mine Drac bust by GeoMetric. Recently, I've been very fustrated trying to get the flesh tones right on my Mr. Spock figure and I needed to take a break and have a success. The Drac proved to be just the right distraction. I'm pretty pleased with the results.

So what did you guys work on this weekend?

Any robots, aliens or starships, Midnight?

I'm trying to do some final pre-paint work on my 1/72 Hasegawa battroid. I'd like to finish it completely in April and start on the YF-21

No, I used to do Star Trek, but I needed to narrow down what I do.LOL. So now I do autos, choppers, and the occasional W.W.II bird.

Well, I spent this weekend, like the previous 5, working on the ventilator grilles for a Moonbase Alpha Primary Laser Defence Tank. I have had to build THREE identical replicas of the rear radiator grilles of a 1/25th Chieftain tank, since I couldn't afford to buy them at £35 each. In any case, because they are Korean 'knock-offs' of the Tamiya kit, the grilles were actually back to front in any case
