At least I have mine then!

I wouldn't know where to display a 34 inch wheel.

Maybe a 1/500 or 1/1000 scale would work.

I would love a 1/350 Space Station V.

It would be 34 inches in diameter.

Holy bazongas - bigger than a pizza!  But judging by the US sci-fi kit makers' penchant for oversized kits these days, it could happen!

And then we would find out the mini Orion is NOT included, and the current issue was OOP for years....  Crying

Thanks!

They are decals that come with the kit.

Sharp looking build! I really like the multi tone panels look that you achieved on this. Yes

Yeah she looks awesome! And her bigger sister ain't too shabby either!

Wish Pan Am were still around, I'd book a ticket on one of them. After all being 2023 the price should have come down at this point that even I could afford a ride...

Great job!  I love the 1/350 option; get a kick out of displaying next to the TOS and USS Enterprise!   Part of my "What if" world  :-)

I would love a 1/350 Space Station V.

It would be 34 inches in diameter.

The surface detail is way too heavy for the scale. Some of the surface detail is from the decals, which are nice.

I also have the 1/72 scale Orion to build. Moebius has 3 Orions now.

lucas stole many sci-fi ideas, but it all works... sort of.

Not bad for such a tiny kit!  I wonder why they made it - could it be that they might do the space station to-scale with it?  That would be so cool.

BTW, did anyone else notice that the interior of the space station's docking bay bears an uncanny resemblance to the Death Star's bay?  I think Lucas took a lot of visuals from 2001 when he made Star Wars.

I just finished the little guy.

Overall a nice kit, but far from perfect.

The shapes are good but much of the surface detail is very heavy and out of scale.

The kit decals are nice and provide much of the surface detail. But the decals and the molded decals are very mismatched. As expected there are no PamAm decals, but HDA makes a set.

The center fuselage seam needs a lot of work.

The stand hole is WAY too big for this scale! As is the rectangle on the top.

I left out windows, they are way too thick for the scale.

Ready for primer.

2 coats of Tamiya white primer, 2 coats of Tamiya pure white, and a dusting of Tamiya racing white. I like the color.

Decals started, I used it's medium brother as a guild along with the instructions. The decals are still wet in these photo's.

Dull coated.

And I used Kystel Klear for the windshield.

And on display!
