     I see what you are referring to. I do believe if the plastic it's printed from will let you you can wet sand and use Mr. Surfacer primer to make those lines go away. Pretty neat all in all. Are we going to get Worf and Scotty?

Oh that looks great! Not sure how to clean up the straitions in the resin. The primer ought to cover some of the small stuff but sanding the large ones is probably the best. 

I wish I could find a full figure of Sisko to go with my Kirk and Picard figures. 

T-B and Gamera, thanks for the comments. I took your advice T-B, the wet sanding worked up to a certain point, since like I stated I didn't want to accidentally remove and relief from the bust. At least the head cleaned up nicely and I feel I should've used the sanding attachment from my Dremel tool, but I didn't want an 'oops' situation, so I kept it manual. I used the Tamiya Surface Primer(white), so I'm going to keep chugging along. It's not being entered into any competition, so I don't worry about that, considering all the details that today's cameras capture. BTW, I'm not getting Scotty, Worf or Kirk. Pictured is also the resin or vinyl which these 3D printers use.

 I am familiar with that spool. A friend uses that a lot! He does a lot of ship parts for R.C. models he has!

Thanks Gamera for the comment. Here are more WIP photos. Using the smoothing technique, I've been trying to eliminate the markings from the 3D printer. I guess I'll just keep on trekking. The hair, eyebrows and lips are done and next I'll do the eyes with the help of EZ Eyes decals from Archer Fine Transfers(OOB). Wish me luck.

P.S. I double checked the Spock bust and looks like it doesn't have the same problem as Picard. Another project for later.

Well, the eyes are on. EZ Eyes can be a hassle, but they really make a figure look good when done right. Now onto the uniform.

Well I finally finished him. He's ready to "Engage" the warp drive and take the Enterprise 'where no man has gone before. Really I was disappointed with the lines that the printer produced as I stated before, but I like it. It's been awhile that I've done a large figure or bust and I'm happy with the results. Enjoy.

        I know where those lines come from. You do know the transporter builds you back from the feet up! He just goes and parties to much! Besides, we all know he's a ladies man!

That looks great Tiger, top-notch work! The lines on the uniform actually don't bother me that much, it looks sorta like a fabric texture. The face, well what can you do? But if you don't look too close they don't show that much. Still all in all it's a great job you did there, BRAVO!!! 

TB: ROTFL, never thought of the transporter working like a 3D printer but I guess it might, reassembling the victu- um transportee starting with the feet and working up. Now I think I understand more why Dr. McCoy hated the damn machine...
