I have all of Bandai's kits so far and have been very happy with them. but when I was trying to translate this website, it's hard to read, even in english. The words Bandai and "D type" and the pictures all are in the same paragraph.

J-Hulk, can you check this out in the above link? Bandai is supposed to be announcing their next Star Trek kits at the model show this weekend.

Go to this link: http://www.stfan.com/

Scroll down until you see the pics of the Voyager ship. I can't read Japanese but I tried Babelfish translation. The name of Bandai does appear and there is a mentioning of a "D type" in the text above the pics.

Can someone translate?

The Phaser strip looks a bit "heavy" to me and the panel lines look a bit wide.

It also looks like Bandai is releasing the 1/850 Enterprise in it's 1701-A version. Look at the 4th picture down on this website: http://www.hobby.co.jp/hobby_show/pla/04.htm

What I can't make out is the color of the secondary hull. Is it green as in the TMP or is it Blue as in the later movies?

Hot dog. I'm getting all the Aliens-related kits. They disappeared off the shelves about he time they hit town here originally!

Hey, that is good news. Nice kits, if a tiny bit fiddly at times. Thanks for posting.
