Here's a great diorama from master modeler Tatsuya Kaneko that was on display at the Shizuoka Hobby Show this past weekend (along with a million other great models!):

Ain't that cool?
Maybe I should post it over at the Figures and Diorama forums, too!

Where is Clint Eastwood's F-86 fighter? Sorry, J-Hulk, couldn't resist.

Where is Clint when you need him...
And look closely, folks! Not Walker Bulldogs, but JGSDF Type 61 MBTs!
Granted, they do look similar from above.
Those are from Kaiyodo's 1/144 "World Tank Museum" series. The tarantula is from the AMT "Gigantics" series.

J-Hulk,
Did you get any other sci-fi pics at the show?

Got a few fuzzy pix (shoulda used the tripod, I know!) of a very nice Galactica that was very nicely lit, including running landing lights inside the landing bays.
Some nice Thunderbirds stuff, and of course some Godzilla!

There was tons of Gundam and whatnot, but so much so that none of it really stood out, and nothing attracted my camera's eye.
Sorry!
