When my mother was "aiding" the teacher managed to get Revell to donate some models to the class. The reason I remember is I got a few passed my way.Cool [8D]
You could try that route, either a manufacturer or a distributor. Couldn't hurt to try. Save some mula in the process, tax write-off for them.

Oh, almost forgot the SD Gundam kits, which shouldn't cost you alot, at all... ($5 at the most, each, though it may be more if you find them at Wal-Mart or whatever, since they're around there, too )

They're cute little versions of the Gundam mecha, and even have their own mecha types (IE: The Musha series ) These kits have nothing to do with that SD Gundam cartoon here in the US, though... I think the cartoon was based on these kits...

The kits that cost the least tend to suck when it comes to BanDai kits... (They don't look THAT bad, however... But still, not perfect... )

Like the 1/144 SEED no grade kits, which I'd think are about $3-$5 each, but have limited posiblity (They're "Tradeing Kits" or something... I own the BuCue kit from the series, and it looks good, but you really only get one good pose out of it... )

And then you have the 1/144 Wing, G Gundam, and Gundam X kits, which aren't TOO bad, but they still need work to look good... (I wouldn't pay more than $5 for them, but I dunno how high their prices are now... )

Then you have the HGUC 1/144 series of Gundam kits, which are the best, but they cost more... (Like $8-$20 or so... or like $200 for the HGUC Dendrobium, but that thing's huge, anyway... )

The higher priced kits, the 1/100 MG and HG kits tend to cost around $20-$70+, so I doubt you want those...

Anyway, go to HLJ.com to check out direct from Japan prices, or perhaps GundamShop.com, whos prices aren't too bad, though they're in NJ... There's also HobbyFan.com, but I never bought Gundam plastic kits from them... So I dunno how their prices are, I'm going to check, though...

Any other questions, feel free to ask me! (I should be able to answer them... )

Hello and welcome to the forums , Gundam models are pretty pricey wherever you go , they is one thing you might try doing , every now and then Hobby Lobby will have a half off sale , and while they don't have a very good selection of Gundam models they have some , at least at my local store . If you don' twant to do that , try your local hobby stores and check for sales , also try Target , Wal-mart and Kay-bee toy ooutlets sometimes they have them at fair prices . I wish I could tell you of a magic place where all models were cheap , but I'm still looking myself Big Smile [:D] Anyway hope this helps and Good luck , someone else in the forums may know of a place .
