And Brian, I'll hum the theme to ST:TMP into your ear while standing behind you.

I really loved the Klingon battlecruiser from TMP. Now that would be a cool model.

Larry,
A "workbee" is a small, one-man work vessel used by Starfleet construction & maintenance workers. They were briefly featured in the spacedock scene of "Star Trek: The Motion Picture."

I'll agree with the farmer on that last one! I don't even care about an interior -- I'd definitely bite for a TMP Klingon battlecruiser in this scale, and with this level of detail.

Those pics are new to me, but they really impressed me.

At the risk of sounding like a boob, what's a workbee?

Just to keep you guys up-to-date...
Thomas Sasser has uploaded 17 new photographs of the prototype. Oh man... I'm sitting here almost with tears in my eyes, humming The Enterprise Theme from Star Trek: The Motion Picture!

Amen, Here's hoping that they can follow thru with three more ships in the 1/350 scale for me to have a complete collection in spite of the RC/ERTL buyout. I'm hoping for the TOS Enterprise, Reliant, and a Klingon TMP/K'tinga version of the battlecruiser.

I'll have to find me a wife who is a star trek fan or loves to collect to have something to bagain with.Mischief [:-,]

In case you missed them, Thomas Sasser has provided new pics of the Polar Lights Refit Enterprise at this forum:

It looks like this model will include full interiors for the shuttle bay, cargo deck, officer's lounge, botanical garden, and rec deck, along with four shuttles (two of each type), two travel pods, and six workbees. Oh man... my birthdays in late September, better start begging! Smile [:)]
