I'll look for a link or two but I know I've seen some pretty impressive jobs over on Starshipmodeler and CultTVMan. I think the trick is that you paint it before you assemble it.

I have just purchased the new Polar Lights kit Entreprise NX-01(in Austraia) and was wondering how to go about painting the Aztec pattern on the Hull. Can you guys help?

I would suggest a couple of Polar Lights kits. The TOS Enterprise is currently available for a reasonable price, although smaller, it is more accurate and gives you lots of options. You can pick them up for as little as $7.99 at Target or maybe even less at Hobby Lobby with their 1/2 off sale.

The refit is another story, you can find them on e-bay for $25-50 and probably won't find these at any liquidators (actually the other kit either). So you can do the ebay thing or wait a few months for Polar Lights new Refit kit in 1/350th scale. It promises to be a fantastic kit and includes a detailed secondary or engineer hull. I think I've seen estimates that the kit will cost about $50, but it will be worlds better than the Ertl version.

Stop in at any Toy Liquidator or similar shops. They usually have a bunch of Star Trek and Star Wars kits for ridiculously low prices (like, 5 bucks!).

Sorry, don't have either of those. Have a D, a Defiant and Reliant.
Good luck on your search, most of these are regularly on ebay and you can
also try www.starshipmodeler.com in their trading post.

If you're an ebay shopper, there are some there for a decent price.
