I should have something worth photographing in a couple of weeks. I am still working on that 1/4 scale '79 Alien creature. I need to get some affordable Bass Guitar strings for it. Those things are spendy!

Thanks for all the help guys!! I really like the Galactica plans!! Might just have to give it a try.
TOPGUN14, send me some pics dude! I think it would be cool for someone to do a life-size powerloader! Maybe out of foam or some other dense light wt material.

new to this forum , but had to reply to the question . A few years back ,I built a 1/4 scale alien powerloader using the halcyon kit to get measurements from . The guy who did the masters for these kits had an association with the kit builders from the films . Sorry I don't have a web site to show my pictures yet but if you hav an e-mail I can send you a pic . I live in the UK

Hey Cobywan, are you going to try to scratcbuilt the BS Galactica from the mini-series?

Did you know about my blueprint project?

I hope to do one someday. I already started the classic G a couple of months ago.

buybuddho, that is one sweet fighter! Reminds me of me Battlefleet Gothic days!
I'm mainly looking for vehicles/spacecraft from the Alien movies. I am going to try to scratchbuild the APC in 1/72nd scale to put along side my dropship. I know there was a resin one out several years ago but I would like to try my hand in scratchbuilding.
Woody, that is one big ****** Nostromo! I don't know if I would go 6 yrs with that beast!

You might ask this guy where he got his plans from. If nothing else his model is inspiring.Wink [;)] http://24.138.31.246/rob/nostromo/uscss_nostromo_ii__march_2004.htm
