Perry rhodan Revell Kits?
Posted by lolok on Monday, June 28, 2004 5:10 AM
Hello friends,
Has anyone ever built any of the kits for the Perry Rhodan series of books. I know they were made by Revell but I cannot find them on Revells website and asking here in Poland is no joy either.
I could not find them when I went home to London so if anyone knows were they are hiding or could get me one if I send them the cash I would be very very very grateful. I am looking for' the Saucer of the Blues'
Your help would be much appreciated,
Jim...Wink [;)]

I've seen them all at hobby stores here and there. I bought the Pery Rhodan Marco Polo and Space Jet Glador at a local HobbyTown USA during their ½ price sale. I have not attempted to build them yet, but they look good. The kits look like they were tooled by Monogram since they resemble other fairly recent sci-fi Monogram toolings like Star Trek Voyager and Babylon 5.

Your best bet would be to ask on Starship Modeler's site. Perhaps you can find someone close by who has access to them.

Surprisingly, I found something that might be helpful - apparently, www.megahobby.com sells them:

All four models (scroll down):

As for Revell's homepage, I actually found the Perry Rhodan presentation box (SOL and MARCO POLO), but only on the English version of the Revell Germany site (neither on the German version, nor at Revell-Monogramm), so I guess they're OOP.

I've found several of the kits here locally in a discount store. I'll check to see if they're still there and get back to you.

Sorry about the delay. I checked back at the store and they were all gone. Another Rhodan fan, I guess.

I've bought all 4 P.R. kits. Detail is basic and fit is , how to be polite, variable! Otherwise not bad. Trying to get the suggest paint schemes correct can be a bit of a laugh !
