Tritium Class Cruiser

A guy over on Starship Modeler has kitted a 1/1000 scale Tritium Class cruiser from "The Chronicals of Space Flight".

Here is the Starship Modeler forum thread where I found this project. http://starshipmodeler.net/cgi-bin/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=229965#229965229965
Looks very promising for those of you interested in a semi-canon starship.
I posted this on the group build thread but it seems nobody looks there any more.Sad [:(]

I saw the "Tritium Class cruiser" in the "The Chronicals of Space Flight" book, I think I still have the book somewhere. Didn't it say that three warp engines were bad for a warp field - What about the future Enterprise-D, it had three Warp engines.

Nice design of ship though

Looks like the price has went up a bit. He has posted a pic of the Tritium's hull next to a PL Enterprise. Looks like it will make a great addition to a 1/1000 ST collection.

Spot on!

The Tritium class were apparently a failure according the the chronology, the three warp nacelles causing all sorts of issues with the warp fields balances. It was capable of warp 4.75 and was cancelled after 6 were built.

cheers

Polar Lights really broadened our horizon when their Enterprise kit in 1/1000 was released. I'm always glad to see a new kit in my new favorite scale. Looking in on this kits progress I see he has pics of the hull after casting. Looks real good! Cool [8D]
