Thanks very much. I'll be asking for one for my birthday soon. The Starcraft kit looks more true to the TV model than the ones put out by AMT/ERTL.

they are still being made by starcraft... they are available from www.federationmodels.com if you are interested. they also have many other star trek/sci-fi stuff there

Ah, it's 1/1000 scale! The topic said 1/100, and I wanted to see how big that'd be.

Starcraft 1/100 Romulan Bird of Prey

Had lots of fun this weekend! I got started on my Starcraft 1/1000 scale Romulan Bird of Prey.





As you can see I have some work left on this.... It's amazing that I am still getting fisheyes because I cleaned this twice and then wiped it down with lacquer thinner....
