I had made an exchange with another modeler. It's in good hands.

I love those things, they look odd, but it gets the job done...

Why don't you have it any more though? It looks really nice!

Great job on that model. Why do you no longer have it?

I had that model, unbuilt still in the box. I think it got bid up to $65 when I sold it. I also sold my 1/72 Glaug at the time. That one went for $125 US to a Canadian bidder. I'd rather use the Matchbox toys to add scratchbuilt parts to them than build the kit versions. The Matchbox ones are bigger and more durable (screw together parts!).

Yeah I've bought from GTC once. I paid $85 for the final model in my 1/12 Southern Cross collection... the GMP Alan Davis model. He was the h a r d e s t one to get.

I was about to reformat a floppy disk when I came across these images. It's a 1/72 Imai kit I built in the mid 1980's. I no longer have this kit but I'd thought I'd put it out here anyway. I spent about $20.00-$25.00 by mail order for this kit in the pre-internet days (any 'old' sci-fi modelers remember the 'Galactic Trade Commission'?). Now I've seen this kit go for more than $100.00 when it appears on E-bay. Oh, how I was hopping it would be part of the re-release kits that came out last year!
