Hasegawa's next Macross model?
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, April 22, 2003 1:20 PM
What would you like to see next from Hasegawa?

Personally, i think it would likely be another fighter (e.g., the VF-11 series, or maybe a VF-4 Lightning)... they have had some problems with their battroids, particularly with hip joints.

I'd love to see a VF-19 (Yf-19A) battroid though... I think it is one of the best looking battroid's out there.

I'd like to see a VF-11 Thunderbolt in fighter mode. Then I'd like to see battroids for the YF-19, YF-21 and the VF-11.

VF-4 Valk, YF-19 Battroid, VF-11 Valk, VAF-7A "Shadow" Alpha Fighter, VF-17D and a X-9 with booster pods! Big Smile [:D] (In that order Wink [;)])

I would like to see a VF-4, any transformable variable fighters, especially a VF-1.

There is a re-issue. Take a look at hlj.com under the 'Science Fiction' section and them 'Macross'. Bandai is listed as doing a re-issue of the VF-2SS.

Just some updates for people that might be unaware...:

Next model, as many of you might now , is the vf 1/72 strike battroid coming out tomorrow. This will be the last of the macross 'war one' (first part of the series)models since they have resolve not to bid for reinstalment of the copyrights.

So what it seems is that tHasegawa will finaly follow with some Macross 7 models. We'll know this for sure in the next coming months (or weeks).

Yamato is coming up with a 1/60 destroid Monster and Queadlunn rau for next year or this Christmas and the 1/60 elintseeker and ostrich are coming up by July-august(hopefully), these are toys, not models

Seem HLJ has stopped pre-ordering for the 1/100 VF2SS from mac-II because the 'reissues' where sold out by too many preorderes.

Hasegawa has also relaesed a YF-21 kit and kits from the newest macross series - Macross Zero - which takes place prior to the event so f the original series , so far they have an F-14 in UN Spacy markings , a Mig-29 in anti-unification markings and the predecessor to the VF-1 fighter the VF-0. I'd like to see a 1/500 or 1/700 SDF1. I'd settle for a 1/1000 version. Did anyone ever make a kit larger than the Revell/monogram one? I've seen some small scale, 1/8000 versions of which I have one of. T.L.
