Star Trek land vehicles!!!!!?????
Posted by chevit2001 on Tuesday, August 24, 2004 7:24 PM
Hey you ever notice in the Star Trek TV show and movies whenever they were beamed or shuttled to a planet they never had a land vehicle they always walked the planets. A neat modeling project would be to come up with various land vehicles for Star Trek. Maybe a tracked vehicle, all-terrain vehicle or some kind of hover vehicle. Maybe it'd be neat to see some in the gallery some time.

That vehicle was called the "Argus" and it would make a pretty neat kit, along with the shuttle that carried it.

Actually, both the shuttle & the dune buggy were called "Argo". A 1/24 Argo buggy would be a great kit! And a matching 1/24 Argo shuttle would be an incredible display!! Big Smile [:D]

I think the buggy was built by Ivan "Ironman" Stewart.

It was modeled after one of his buggys, & he got to drive it once the Argo was built.

I stand corrected, Prince of Styrene. You're right. Time to pull out the DVD one more time and watch it!

You know, for all it's bad press & reviews, I really liked Nemesis. Sure there were similarities with TWOK, but duh, of course there were! Just by nature there were going to be. Can you imagine how much complaining there would be if there wasn't a starship battle or a battle of wits between Picard & Shinzon?
Though I do agree that B-4 surviving in the end was a cheap blow to Data's death.

Leonard Nimoy was once quoted as saying "Nobody ever dies in science fiction. . just look at Obi Wan Kenobi."

And then of course, Spock came back to life, and now Data is reborn as B-4.
