I just hacked an Asia class cruiser up using Microsoft Picture It software. You should stick with your version. I like it a lot better. Wink [;)]Thumbs Up [tup]

I think you're onto something. You might try sinking the saucer section into the secondary hull so the top of the impulse deck is flush to the top of the secondary hull. Extend the bridge module to the middle of the secondary hull with a graceful sweeping arch. Put an impulse engine on either side of the saucer just left and right of the extended bridge section. Angle the front of the secondary hull and set the deflector dish back into a trough that blends into the saucer bottom. I would make the nacelle pylons more stubby and much wider where they meet the secondary hull. I would make the pivot joint at the spot where the pylon meets the hull.My 2 cents [2c]

actually try blending a TOS Enterprise saucer to the engineering hull of the Excellsior (dont use the neck) then add TOS warp nacels to hinged pylons because remember that Voyager was longer than her warp nacels and more streamlined sort of like the Excellsior.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

I don't know...I kinda like that one. I keep thinking about a retro Voyager, take an Enterprise 1701 loose the neck and blend the secondary hull into an elongated saucer, slap on some TOS era nacelles to hinged supports...Taped Shut [XX] I'll just stop now.Big Smile [:D]

and Polar Lights added the decals for the defiant to its snap together TOS enterprise kit but what would be interesting is to build a diorama featuring a TNG Saber class starship and a TOS Constitution class starship based on one of the stories from the Starfleet Corps of Engineers book series.

Cool! I like. There is a TOS defiant, it is a sister ship to the Enterprise. I forget the name of the episode it was in tho.

I just had a crazy yet intriguing idea. Wouldn't it be cool to take a "modern" Star Trek design and apply the same finish as on the TOS era ships. I'd love to see a Enterprise-E smoothed and painted light grey! How about a Runabout smoothed and simplified with TOS correct "Galileo III markings". I recently ran across plans for a TOS Defiant.Cool [8D] Propeller [8-]
