Tholian Web Spinner "HELP"
Posted by maxx1969 on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 10:36 PM
I searched through as many references and pics I could find on line and other than some screen shots all I could find was one B&W photo that looks like the studio model. The problem is this.

Q #1: If I trace the lines of the Spinner it comes to the back in a triangle however all of the schematics show it ending in a pentagon. What do think is right?

Q #2 The glowing triangular engines look flat in some pics and as in the pic at the top look to be faceted leaving again the question of what is correct?

So if the collective Trek minds out there know I could really use the help.

Thanks,
Matt

Matt, Here are some pics of the studio model that I think might help you out. Note that the Aurora studio model is a redressed tholian ship that just has had warp nacelles grafted on.

Matt the picture on the top should be the correct image. the Tholian web spinners are faceted for some function I am unsure of.
