Looks good, but personally I think the old Beetle would have worked better.

That IS cool. All it needs is some glowing green headlights!

Thank you for the compliments. Model Museum has a good idea. I think I can try the same concept of the new Herbie the Love bug kit by Polar Lights in 1/25th scale. How about the Hasagawa VW Microbus?
I actually built this kit in a day. My model car club had a VW theme night, and I had nothing finished. I thought of this and built it using box parts and flat primer paint. I had a lot of fun building it.
Thanks, Robert.

Ok, here are a few thoughts on how I might do it.

Old Beetle(Herbie works great), Fiat Abarth, 2CV, etc are good as those cars got personality IMHO.
First strip off/damage a fender or two, rip the engine hood off and/or damage it the borg gear has to get in there in order to take the car over.
Replace one of the headlights with a Borg Eye or similar preferably the side where the fender is missing or "damaged".
Sits we need no stinking seats no more, put some hardware/weaponry in there.

Just some random thoughts that popped into my mind.

Anyone remember a show back in the late 90's(?) called Beetle-Borgs?

I've been thinking of re-detailing a borg cube I made years ago or borgifying something new.

Cool idea. Fahrfergborgen or Borgfergnugen ("Fahrfergnügen")
