Marshydog --> Scopedog Red Shoulder Turbo Custom conversion.

Greetings fellow modelers.

Todays nutty project will be too convert a Wave 1/24 HG ATM-09-WR Mashydog
to a full-featured "Scopedog Red Shoulder Turbo Custom" this will entail mating the above Kit withthe following kit Wave 1/24Turbo Custom Parts Set.

OTOH, I also got the Wave 1/24 Downform & RSC Weapon set still lying around.

Either will build into one of the Red Shoulder Versions from the Series.

The reasons why I selected the HG kit over the older and cheaper Marshydog kit are as follows:
Head is the newer and correct type:
Figures of Chirico(Pilot) are resin over the older plastic pieces
Fists can be extened into the punch.

Personally I prefer the Wave 1/35 kits over the 1/24 ones, as the 1/24 ones do have a bit of a problem with the hatch fit and opening mechanism, as well as the collar for the head.
I also feel that the 1/35 cockpit is slightly better than the 1/24 one.

But than the kits re-issued sporadically and one has to take what is available.
I still think the best Wave Votoms kit was the 1/60 Operation Sunset A kit that took their 1/60 plastic models and augmented them with resin and PE parts.
Really wish I could get another one of those. Never liked the 1/24 Version.

Anyhuh enough ranting and raving time to rip the boxes open. Big Smile [:D]

Sorry, pics will have to wait a few days, just got hit with a rush order for a Bandai 1/72 Lazyner BayBull (Spt-BB-02U).

Which is kinda making me angry as I had hoped to get started on the Wave 1/72 SPT NEW Lazyner Resin Kit for an upcoming competition. Angry [:(!]

Guess a few nights of burning the ol' midnight oil will be in order.

Don't ya just hate it when RL intrudes on your plans...I should really assemble the SV-51 I've got for a review but would rather build something else for now....like my 1:48 Spark Vark.
