Hey guys.. Gundam SEED/DESTINY is big here in Japan at the momment, and just last Saturday 4th Dec, they released the 1/100 Force Impulse Gundam... I am a big fan of the Aile Strike Gundam from SEED, but the Force Impulse is by far my favourite.. I had the small 1/144 snap version, and I made it look respectable,. but when I knew the 1/100 was comming out, I decided to skip past the 1/144 HG, and go strait for this one!..Very happy I did...I got it for $17.. Sometimes it is good to live in Japan!...

The box sat all Saturday, and Saturday night on the kitchen table looking at me.. So yesterday, Sunday (Japan Time) I started it.. I got so hooked, I simply couldnt stop!.. Well 11pm Sunday night, and I was finished.. Just needs a few details completed, but I am very happy at the result Please feel free to have a look over at my site.. I cant seem to be able to post pics on this site for some reason... Its in my Gundam Photo Folder...

"Sometimes!?!?"[:0]
When is it ever not??Wink [;)]Big Smile [:D]

Seriously though, nice buncha Gundams ya got there, Chris. I've been tempted to build a few, but I'm afraid I'll get hooked. With the variety of kits available, I'd go broke in no time!
But maybe a nice RX-78...or two...

Yes, that is very true.. My friend in the States loves them, and I had been sending kits back to him, unable to understand what the fuss was about.. Then, one day, here I am in Mr Max, and I stummble across the Y300 Force Impulse snap kit.. Well, I thought what the heck, I dont know what it is anyways... So I go home, put it together, paint it up, and before you know it, I have an entire collection.. Once I discovered the HG kits, that was it.. I made a decision to stick to 1/144 scale, but when I saw the Force Impulse comming out in 1/100, I just had to try atleast one.. I would have liked it in 1/60, but even for me, Y5000 is alot for one of these things.. So 1/100 will do.. I now want to replace my 1/144 set with 1/100, so I guess I did get hooked.. But I made a prommis that I will only model the kits from the SEED/DESTINY/MSV range.. No more.. Although very tempting..

Anyways, they are great for a lazy afternoon, and you can really make them look great with bit of effort.. A change from the norm.. I think you will enjoy it to be honest! Newly Converted Gundam Head!
