Make your own templates for Polar lights Enterprise NX-01
Posted by flaver on Saturday, December 11, 2004 7:56 AM
I found this link on the polar lights forum. I thought it was pretty cool for anyone insane enough to try and paint the Aztek scheme on this wicked kit.

I myself am in the finishing touches of mine, which I lit, but will admit the idea of painting this is would send me to the funny farm.

Anyways check out this link to the templates, they are downloadable.

Heres a link to my resized, edited and recolored for easy cutting templates. The Art Asylum file contains several pieces I didn't touch for the warp engines and other sections, this file just addresses the aztec pattern on the top and bottom of the primary hull.

This file is on geocities so I don't know how many people can download at a time, they have those crazy bandwith restrictions."

good luck

I'm currently about half way done with my NX-01. The lower saucer is completely done and I'm shooting the second color on the upper saucer this afternoon. I've hand masked the Aztec patterns on both sides and so far, it's turning out pretty good. Actually, the color contrast in the only problem I've had.

Ok John, sorry about the confussion... There was a guy with a similar name that sells sub par stuff on Ebay.. The only good thing about the kits, are that they are lighted.. When I saw what the price his NX went for. All I could think was I hope the people buying it understand what they are paying for!.. Dont think they are going to get what they thought they were!
