Release of the M. Falcon, X-Wing & Snow Speeder? Cool! If I could find a Speeder Bike & Shuttle Tydirium I'd have all the kits I lost! Course, I need to win the Lottery, too! LOL

Yeah, thats very true Model Museum.. But there is a Japanese guy that has done the cutaway Falcon a whole lot of justice.. You can find it on the gallery of StarShip Modelers.. Its all lit, and well I wish I could do the same, but simply dont have the patients! It is a stunning looking replica!

Also, $30 for any AMT model is paying too much.. You will find a decent model out there.. As I said.. I have half of a cutaway sitting here, happy to help out in some way!

Hey Jim, The cut-away Falcon is also from AMT/ERTL kit #8789 and is based on thier earlier Falcon kit. They come up on ebay quite often and range from $10 to $30. I got one in a lot of six Star Wars kits for $30Big Smile [:D].

There are no plans for the Falcon kit to be re-released just yet.. Or at all... The AMT kit is definately not 1/72... $50 is way too much.. Can pick them up cheap on ebay or at trading posts...Best bet is to look around.. I have a half kit of the cutaway version.. If you can find the rest of it, I am happy to help you out!...

My guess about those new Star Wars kits ... would be the re-release of the AMT/ERTL kits of way back when ... but, just a guess ... Smile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

You could be talking about the re-releases of AMT/ERTL ?
