Stargate Sg1 Models
Posted by awan on Wednesday, January 5, 2005 8:47 PM
I have just begun watching that SciFi Tv series(Stargate Sg1), on the advice of a friend saying that they "used cool vehicles and weapons" in the show. I saw one episode (Avatar) and fell in love with the show. Now, I am trying to find any models of the vehicles used in the show. I know that Comet Miniatures has a Death Glider, but I really want something like a Goal'ud Mothership or Crago Shuttle. I think kits based on this show are pretty rare. Please let me know anything you find, one of my friend's wants a cargo ship model for his birthday, and he commissioned me to find and build one, i kinda cheated, but that's okay, he'lll never know.

Thanx

Pretty thin out there as far as Stargate models go. It's a shame too, as I would buy a bunch if they were resonably priced.

Did find a Cargo Shuttle at Comet Miniatures that still shows up as being "due in October 2004"

Other than that, I couldn't find a thing...

Nope. Cottage industry products are spendy and not meant for kids. They are even more delicate than styrene kits.

Have to agree. Those kits fall into a category usually "Garage Kits" and are ususally for intermediate ti advanced modelers as they often have fit problems, poor Instructions, need special tools and skills, etc.
