                        Wasn't sure where to post this but here it is. Check the website of "Transportation Futuristics" at www.lib.berkeley.edu/news_events/exhibits/futuristics. Lots of material and modeling ideas just waiting for some of us to build as models.

                        The period at the end of the link is the culprit!

                        NEATO site! I love the pic of the passanger air transport dropping the passenger compartment [so it can be parachuted to the ground]. Is it me or do they have a satisfying look of terror on their faces?

                        I like the pic of the Freedom ship. If it ever gets built it will be MANY times bigger than a Nimitz class carrier. A learjet can land on it's deck without arresting gear!
