It seems that it is now impossible to download the PDF files for the paper AT-AT at the site that I gave. But if somebody is interested, just e-mail me, and I'll send the files.
I've build the paper model and it is very nice and fun.

I also have the Tiderium Shuttle, the Millenium Falcon, X-Wing, Y-wing, Tie-Fighter and AT-ST

Hey Joe, you kind of stole my idea ! Big Smile [:D]
Great job though, I was going to use the "pieces" of the free paper model that I once downloaded at http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~sf-papercraft/Copyright/AT-AT/at-at.html
does anybode have any idea of the size of the "real" thing ?

Joe, you're a scratchbuilding maniac!
And I didn't know you were a Star Wars fan! (Aside from your Darth pic!)

Looks real good!

I said it once and I'll say it again, " I LOVE Star Wars models". Excuse me I think I'm going to cry.Boohoo [BH]Bow [bow]Bow [bow]....You really make me proud, great job.

Are you planning to have the AT-AT in a scene or just by it's self.?
I ask because many moons ago I was into the Star Wars role playing game and I scratch built the landing pad that was on The Endor Moon. You know the one with the AT-AT parked next to it. It was a very fast build made from card board, and was only meant to represent the building for playing purposes. BUT I have always wanted to do a serious build of that platform....Anyway it looks great.

thankyou for your kindness. i am kind of vague on the scale of this one. it is approx 1/100. wanted to do a 1/72 but it didnt quite fit the paper for the schematics.

thankyou again for the kind words.

That looks great so far! A very strong start indeed.

ok i am at the point where i can share just what i have been working on here lately.

first what did i start with. well not much really.....

with that being the case i resized the schematics so that they would be close to the size i wanted. then i began to cut and cut and cut some more.

after two weeks of cutting i have some progress to show.

first the body.

the head.

and the feet

now in the next picture you will see exactly what i used for the building supplies on this.

there you go. the legs and the motor housing are up next.
