thanks all. mm i put a brace on either side to keep the leg strait. not accurate but they stay. it most likely will end up in an endor dio but not at the moment. stay tuned.

Hmm, one thing I noticed though.

The diagonal actuator struts between the feet and the legs
are only on the inside of the legs on all my reference pics.

Nice looking.

My tiny white metal AT-AT will find his legs later on in the week
(assembled but not attached).
They are still fully moveable but will be fixed after posing.
