you talented lucky b-----!! i would work for free just to be exposed to the modeling knowledge in that room. i never understood why paramount doesn't open a tour similar to the universal backlot tour where people could view the filming models and props etc. i myself would probably be there on a weekly if not daily basis.

Here is the 17' Enterprise I built when I worked for Paramount about 8 years ago. Fiberglass shell on a steel frame.

Apparently they were thinking of making a continuation TV series of Star Trek in the '70s until they decided to go the movie route. Here are pics of the 4' model they were going to use. This model has been lost for some time.
