The same manufacturer is releasing the Nautilus.
Company name is Wave and the sub will be in 1/700 scale with a March release date according the Hobby Link Japan.
Won't be 17" long, probably less than a foot.

QUOTE: Won't be 17" long, probably less than a foot.

From a post on Hobbytalk, a Japanese online retailer says the Nautilus will be 430mm
http://www.1999.co.jp/asp/GoodsDetails_e.asp?Bno=&Typ1_c=109&Typ2_c=181&Typ3_c=694&SPage=1&SC=34&SN=Other+Others&It_c=10039820&andor=0&scope=0&scope2=0&thumb=1&sortID=1&urikire=1&sort_sort=0&ItKey=&app_url=shop_right_e.asp
Further, the hobby show pictures once posted at HLJ clearly showed the Nautilus being a lot longer than the car which is already close to a foot long.

430 mm at 700 scale?

That would make the sub 301 meters, right?

That's 987 feet! [:0]

No way anyone is driving that boat into Venice! Clown [:o)]
