ED-209...Finally finished!!!
Posted by joewhite on Monday, February 21, 2005 3:36 PM
It's been about 10-11 months but I've finally finished this badboy. Keep in mind that about 3/4 of that time was actually spent building up my model shop and buying the materials used to build ED-209. Actual construction was about 3 months, non-consecutively.

I do have a few touch-ups to do but for the most part it is 99.5% complete. I'm pretty stoked especially since I haven't completed a model in over 8 years and never with this amount of detail, although it's still not as much as some of you pros put into your work.

Check out http://www.angelfire.com/droid/ed-209/index5.html of the build up. Please let me know what you think, thanks!

Bah, I can't look at your website from work (it's blocked) but I will check it out when I get home! I'm sure it looks great.

Excellent work! And an excellent site, too.
A well-chronicled build!

Thank you...thank you very much!! I actually enjoyed documenting this build. It helps to remember all the cursing and trials I went through! :) I plan on doing some more documenting of kits sitting in my closet. Thanks again!
