Stargate model

I normally hang out over in the Aircraft forum, but I figured that this was the place to ask this question.
Is there (or was there ever) available a kit in any scale of the Stargate itself from Stargate SG-1? A DHD would be nice but not necessary.

Any help would be appreciated.

Federation Models has Warp's Stargate, but at $125 you may want to make your own. Check out this: http://www.starshipmodeler.org/gallery8/ms_stargate.htm

Best to build it yourself. I whipped one up for my 40k gaming group out of foamboard and cereal box cardstock. Painted it dark grey and dry-brushed with several applications of light-grey. Turned out neat.

Like the others said, You may just want to build one yourself. However, if you're not tied to it being accurate, you can buy the old MPC kits. They have a Stargate that's close that they use as the base. It's only one sided, doesn't have 39 glyphs and the ones it does have are not accurate. It's also about 1/35 scale. I bought one, but decided to continue building my own and lighting the chevrons. It's also about 1/35 and is coming together pretty good. It dosn't have the fine detail, but when it's lit, it looks good in a dimly lit room.

You know, I tried that same thing, only I had my randomly 'dail'. Then, one morning I heard this miniature 'ka-woosh' sound, and my cat disappeared.

Another possible source may be philmccrackenmodels. I just got a message from them and they advised that it will be at least a month before the know if they're going to get the gate back in production, but from the photos, it's detailed very well.
