I fear that we are at the end of "new" TREK as far as kits are concerned (after the E refit)-RC2 is totally geared for motor heads and diecast-they couldn't give a flip about anything other than cars and things that run on tires.
They are catering to the new generation of modelers that want prepainted bodies that are predecaled and require nothing more than a screwdriver and eight screws to put a "model" together-in my home town, our Hobbytown sells motorhead stuff so fast it zooms off the shelves-there are aircraft and other model types that have literally been sitting there for years-tells you that folks want something in the time it takes to eat one apple-no real builders out there.

You may be right about the Trek kits drying up. I'm hopeful they will live on at PL or somebody else will pick up the ball and run with it.
