i 've seen pictures of the revell germany SWIII kits and would love took get a hold of them here. i may have missed it ,but i've heard nothing about any release date in the US or even if they'll be available in the US period.Sad [:(]
it would seem logical to me that if the movie is going to be released in May that the manufacturer would want to release the kits at that time. the exitement surrounding the movie would prompt those who wouldn't normally buy a model kit to do so. maximize sales by releasing at the peak of the hype is the way to go.unfortunately, the way it looks to me, with no info available it looks like they'll wait until the exitement dies down or the movie flops( God i hope not!). then the poor sales numbers will reinforce the old "sci fi kits don't make enough money" philosophy.
Make a liar of me please and release these things on time and at the right time. each and every time a new kit is promised (at least the sci fi kits) they are late being released. the excuse is that we-the consumer- don't realize what's involved in the developement . apparently those who do know what's involved are inept at utilizing that information actually give a somewhat accurate estimate of an actual release date.

Nice, I want one of each. Coming from Revell-Germany I'm ASS-U-M(e)ing they're going to be much better than the AMT/Ertl's.

Thanks for the link.

What i find odd is though i think the clone fighter is cool, they and i would assume the Jedi should be flying X-wings and y-wings considering that they are "old designs". But I suppose none of that is "real canon" though not that much of Star Wars can be considered canon...
Anyways i like them all though I have never been a big "star destroyer" fan. I also think it's odd that they would have those one man two legged walkers when speeder bikes would seem a better choice because they have anti-grav.
Ignore me I'm just nit-picking. i still like the designs and would definately get all the fighters!

It's just an obvious juxtaposition of the classic trilogy fighters. I would wager that AMT and RoG are partnering the distribution of the same kits.

And doesn't anyone else recognise these pictures as CGI?

Thinking back to how we always did kneecapping in Mechwarrior... I think I found the soft spot in the AT-RT... hey, just shoot the freakin' pilot off the top of it! Dead [xx(]

Your right. At first glance i just thought they were retouched photos. But yes upon closer examination they appear to be compleatly CG.

Yeah that is why i can't see the purpose of this vehicle except as a look out point. It has to be slow and offers little to no armor protection for the pilot. Your better off with a speeder bike. We know SB exist at this point in time because Anikin rode one on Tatooine [sp?] in the last movie.Shy [8)]
