Thank you philp, those were exactly the ones I was thinking of. Didn't know that stuff was still available.

I remember one over at Starshipmodeler that was a shortened X-Wing with only two engines.

There used to be some really nice ones over on starship modellers website, but unfortunately, some bunghole crashed the site. They are out there though.

those Uglies are the ultimate kit bash like fore example crossing an X-wing with a Tie Fighter ar a Y-wing with a TIE fighter.

On the workbench: Dragon 1/350 scale Ticonderoga class USS BunkerHill 1/720 scale Italeri USS Harry S. Truman 1/72 scale Encore Yak-6

The 71st Tactical Fighter Squadron the only Squadron to get an Air to Air kill and an Air to Ground kill in the same week with only a F-15 http://photobucket.com/albums/v332/Mikeym_us/

Evil [}:)]
Has anyone ever built any uglies? (the mixing of parts of different ships to make one as explained in Star Wars novels) If so do you have photos? I am considering trying my hand at it but I am curious if I am the first or not. (doubt that I am.
