Macross Monster

Whoooah baby... it finally arrived today. One of my most anticipated kit releases... the Monster mecha from the Macross anime series. This was brilliantly cast by the folks at SMT. They rushed the kit off to me before the instructions, photo image and decals were completed. He promises to send those along when they arrive from the printers.

The pieces:

The bigger pieces with a 1/72nd scale Valkyrie by Hasegawa as a size reference.

"What's your shoe size? Friggin' huge."

"Devil's in the details."

"Comin' right at ya" ... or "You'll poke your eye out!"

Nice. Your right it is a very anticipated kit. I bet a bunch will show up already built at Wonderfest. Might even see one at the atlanta IPMS Nats. I may be at one or the other shows and it would make my day to see one.

Doubt it... I'm one of the first to receive it and I doubt anyone will have it done by Wonderfest... only a couple weeks away. Maybe IPMS Nats.

babes and sci-fi modeling are close to (but not entirely) mutually exclusive.

Nice to see others interested in the Anime/Sci-Fi. I have a couple of the Monsters in 1/200 and 1/100 injection model kits. If there is enough interest, I might bring them down to Wonderfest. I will be at the Dream Master Creations table this year.
