NOOPS94
Posted by bablenw on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 7:29 PM
This is a model, I call the NOOPS97, is made from a medicine spoon! I used to give my kids cough syrup!! I used various bits and pieces from my spare parts box, and the drone refueler is also scratch built. It's made from a drop tank and the refueling hose is electrical wire. The base I made from sheet plastic, painted concrete, and weathered with pastels. Also the landing lights are sequines I got at a local craft store. The engine housing is the body of a small hummer I got from an old DML 1/200 C141 kit with eye shadow applicator handles. I drilled out small holes in the side for windows and it's painted with enamels and weathered with pastels. I wasn't sure if I should post this in DIoramas or SCi Fi. Please enjoy! If you can see them I'll try again.

The text with this post didn't come through so here's the information.

This is a scatch built project using a medicine spoon as a base. I call is NOOPS94. THe refueler drone is also scratch built. It's been weathered using pastels. No scale just did it for fun.

That's pretty neat. What is the vessels function?

The vessel is about 5" long. I actually "appropriated" it from my kids cough syrup box. IT represents a space barge that hauls spare parts to the far reaches of any galaxy. If you

Nicely done! I have a couple of those hanging around. You can get them at any drug store. Walgreens, CVS, steal one from the wife...
