So sorry, but I have to ask...

I realize this has probably been asked and answered MANY times by now,but I couldn't find a thread on it, so please excuse the new guy who's usually building moto GP bikes. Anyway to my point- seeing as how some of us can't quite shellout the $ for the Finemolds kit, which one of the remaining X-wing kits is best? I'm looking at doing a larger one if possible, and please be gentle-like I said I'm sure I'm like the 100+ guy to ask this.
Thanks

The only one I know of that doesn't kill the pocket book is the larger of the two AMT/Ertl kits. The smaller on is the snap together kit at 1:61 scale and the larger is a glue kit at 1:42 scale although the Fine Molds kits are by far the best with detail the AMT kit realy isn't to bad with the cockpit being the worst thing about it. Hope this helps.

The cockpit is back into production. If you're going to Wonderfest this weekend they will be there.

But seriously. By the time you buy the Ertl kit and the cockpit you would have paid the same for the Fine molds kit.

If you can scrounge $125 you can get the Studio Scale kit that used to be Captain Cardboard's.
