hi all,
I got some 1/24 scale figures for my pilots . I want to get help on two parts..

First : ineed to make a copy of a chest panel from an action figure ... for my pilots .

Second: I can't find ribbon smaller than 1/24 inch. this will work for a belt .
I need to make the stap for the chest panel. s/b 1/16th. black.

on the action figure I have magic sculpt , but i dont know what i can use a a mold release .

I read an article about making "luvers" using non sandable non paintable silicon then with ? body filler . for the parts .

Any help on the 1/16 staps. and making a mold will be grate.

I had a selection of thin drafting tapes in various widths that came from Bishop Graphics in the late 80's, but I can't find them any longer. What you can do is place some thin masking tape on a piece of glass and using a straight edge, cut thin strips with your xacto knife. If you want smooth finishes, use black electrical tape. Then you won't have to paint it either.

Good luck.

It's been my experience with Alumilite's rubber mold material, I've never needed a mold release.
