Maybe off topic-but did anyone notice the Speilberg homage to Godzilla towards the end of Jurassic Park 2?

Yep. I think I know which part of the ending you are talking about. Very nice. Can we forget the awful Godzilla movie that came out in 1990's? Ugh.

Which one?
We have:
1991: Godzilla VS King Ghidorah
1992: Godzilla VS Mothra
1993: Godzilla VS Mecha-Godzilla
1994: Godzilla VS Space Godzilla
1995: Godzilla VS Destroyah
1998: Godzilla (USA version)
1999: Godzilla 2000 Millennium

Somehow I think you are referring to the much-maligned 1998 USA version, which, just for the record, I really liked.
I appreciated it not so much as a "Godzilla movie," because it was indeed far removed from the Godzilla legend, but as a good giant monster movie.

You have to admit, it was pretty darn cool! Smile [:)]

Yeah, now we've got a new Godzilla thread, so we don't have to feel guilty about being OT.

I can also mention that I got the Image Angilas '68 this past weekend - wow, what a kit! I've built the old Kaiyodo Angilas where you have to glue EVERY spike on individually, but this one has the backplate molded perfectly with every spike! Wow, garage kits have sure come a long ways! I bought the Image Gorosaurus last year, and just for the record, I have NO intention of buying all of the Image Destroy All Monsters lineup - I will never have the money for all of them!

The problem for me with the godzilla movie is that matthew broderick is the main star. The movie feels like a action movie but he is not a action star.

Here is the one i did.
