I added some more work to the saucer section of the refit to my site but heres a peek:
In these two left and right side pics you can see some of the window detail to the saucers edge.

In this bridge pic the windows at the back will be left open and can be filled with a clear epoxy.

Big Smile [:D] Thanks again Chris.

I add some test fit pics and size comparisons of the refit to see how things are going to fit together once complete.

Boy this has been a ton of fun building up the big E. I just can't wait to get them all done and have them lined up in a display.

Oh, do you need someone to do a build on your first Bozeman?
I could probably be convinced to do a review/write up for you...

Here are some sneek peek pics of the refit parts to go with the set:

The nacelle struts gave me some problems but they look to be working out now.

I did want to add one note to this build. Of all the nacelles From Star Trek this has got to be one of the more complicated. The thing changes profile a little over 20 times from front to back. It was the reason for the rest of what you see. If it didn't look right there really was no point to the rest of the project. It took almost a year of looking at a ton of different pics and kit parts from AMTThumbs Down [tdn] to the new 350th scale PL RefitThumbs Up [tup] before it finally popped. The rest of the build just sort of flowed to meet up with the nacelle.

I now have the master for all the probes on the Bozeman and have most of the hull extension complete. I hope to add pics of it in a day or two (ahead of schedule is always a plus).

Thanks again everyone of you guys for the great feed back and support. You guys are the best.Party [party]

Maxx, that is what I thought when I first saw her but from doing a little research, appears that they are sensor probes, etc, not weapons.

Yes it has the added sensors but it also has upgraded weapons and is of a different class:

Miranda Class (light cruiser) 4 Phaser Emitters, 2 Photon Launchers, (Stock 150)
Soyuz Class (heavy destroyer) 4 Phaser Emitters, 3 Photon Launchers, (Stock175)

She packs a heavier punchWink [;)]

Thanks Chris. Everyone so far is super excited about the project and the feed back is great. I should be done with this one next week or so. Last night I started the Bozeman parts and it seems to be coming along quite nicely. I should have more pics up next week.

Matt,
Definitely interested in the Bozeman. Have wanted to add this ship to my collection since seeing the episode. Went to school at Montana State U and also liked the movie 1941.
Please keep me informed.
