Two more jobs I have done..
Well guys, I started off just doing a few models to put on auction, and it has turned into a full time job.. I am trying to do my Enterprise collection for myself, but havnt had a chance to do anything, but that will be my little project all my own..
Anyways, I have just finished 2 jobs that I have done.. The first one is the original 18" TOS Enterprise.. Alot of sanding, and alot of puttying, but well worth it in the end.. All the windows white and black were painted by hand as an added extra to the look of it.. Here are a few pictures of the end result!
The second job I did was of the old AMT TIE Interceptor. Not a great model, but I scratchbuilt the missing laser gun ports under the canopy window, and also the extra sensor plates.. Also as an added extra, I decided to make a wooden base. I discovered a clear film for printing clear stickers for kids.. So I found some schematics of the Interceptor. Did the schematics in black, and printed them on the clear film.. I also printed a Star Wars symbol, placed it on the base, and then hit the whole base with a flat clear topcoat.. Cant tell there is a sticker on there.. It just gives it a little extra professional look to it I think? Interested in your comments!
