Yes, I noticed that. Wasn't he in a commercial with Bill Shatner just a bit ago? It's like losing part of your youth. Well-I wish his surviving friends and family well.

I once read that a sign of getting older is when you know more people in the obituaries than in the weddings, funny, I never thought that would apply to me.
Very much like losing part of your youth, may god rest his soul.

Looks like he's chosen the appropriate place for his ashes.

Worse-is seeing obits of people younger than you-or your own. Mark Twain had that experience-he said: "Reports of my death were greatly over-exagerated" (SP?)

Star Trek was the only Sci-Fi show that ever interested me. He will be missed.
Godspeed, Scotty.

Tha tarticle changes evey single time I read it. It is constantly being updated and rewritten. The bit about his ashes being launched into space and him losing a finger was n't on there friday. When did he loose the finger? I never noticed he was missing one...

Go with God anf Rest in peace..old friend.

I believe it was a WWII wound that cost him his finger and as far as his ashes they will be handled by the same service that sent Mr. Roddenberry to the great beyond.

Gods speed Mr. Scott

He lost his figure as while as other wounds on Juno Beach(If I remember right) on D-Day as a Lt. in the Canadian Army, but managed to keep the fact hidden on camera
