Hey, did anyone notice what's in the list of workbench reviews in the upcoming March issue?
Fine Molds Episode II Jedi Starfighter

That should bring a little bit of happiness to you Sci-Fi people. Smile [:)]

The Jedi Star fighter is a nice model, but FineMolds has previously issued outstanding Star Wars X-Wing and TIE Fighter kits as well, with a highly anticipated Slave I to come. There's much more news out there than what's in print. The efforts of Polar Lights, FineMolds, Bandai, and Hasegawa and the legion of garage kit makers have kept "us people" in high quality miniatures for years. But in the end, aren't we all mere "kit assemblers"?

Yes, I was very pleased to read Matt Usher's review. I believe the review was well-written, and it is good to see the kit get good press. I feel that sci-fi can make a resurgence with enough people taking an interest in these good quality kits by Fine Molds.

I will start building my starfighter kit soon... Smile [:)]
Here are a few pics of my X-wing fighter. It was really a cool kit except for the microscopic decals : one or two nerve crisis during the pose...Big Smile [:D]

I saw several other ships inside my X-wing box like the Y-wing. Maybe Fine Molds will produce other classic trilogy ships.

If you go over to Hobby Link Japan's web site they're selling the Starfighter at a reduced price in their sale!

Any Brits reading this should be made aware that it is actually cheaper to buy this kit from HLJ and have it flown half way round the world, than it is to buy it from Comet miniatures in London! (It comes to approx. £13 including P&P at the moment from HJL as apposed to £29.50, not including postage, from Comet)
