The photo is from the book 'From Star Wars to Indiana Jones : The Best of the Lucasfilms Archive'. I don't have it in digital format. I can take a pic of the page if you need. I really recommend that all SW modelers get this book. I wish I could find a cheap copy of Star Wars Chronicles but I gotta say that this is a good substitute. You can see a few pages by going here....http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0811809978/qid=1124897423/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_1/103-2238300-6717448?v=glance&s=books . Hope this helps.

I went to paint it yesterday, and it rained on me as I got all my goods together! Go figure, hmm? Thanks for the inspiration, because it's #1 on my list of "things to get done ASAP!"

Did you happen to say where you got that bomber from, and how much it cost? I've always wanted to build one.

Yep...Tamiya yellow, however when it first came out it looked a little too chalky so I had to throw an oil wash of cadmium yellow to richen the color. You might want to use the following mix all tamiya colors: 10 parts flat yellow, 1 part orange, 1 part flat white. Its the mix recommended on their 109 e-4/7 for the nose tail sections. I think I would have preferred to start with that hue rather than the one I did start with.

Cheers!

Awesome work Joe! The bombers are the best, one of these days I'll have to get my hands on one.

Thanks for all the kind words!!!

Kaleu, the Bomber, I think, is on a temporary hold. Word is, they put it on hold in order to finish and release the Y-Wing (woohoo!!!). If it is available again, don't hesitate...it's a fun build!

ClumsyModeler, yeah, you need to finish the tank. I learned a lot by painting that thing. The only thing I want to do is tone down the black streaks. Although, the pics on my site are a lot darker than it really looks.

Wolfp, I really dig the color of your Razorback. I am currently working on a model that will need a similar, if not exact color. Tamiya Yellow, right?

Thanks again, guys!

Great work on the kits. I like the TIE Bomber. Are these still available?
