Haven't seen any of the 1/48th scale armor kits, but I think the 1/35th scale would suit your needs better

I have always wanted to make a stug for my Imperial Guard Army but I don't want a GW model and even though it would be an easy scratch prodject I don't want to do that either so I was wondering if any 40kers had seen or what your opinions are on converting.
A Tamiya 1/48 Hetzer overal length ~4.8"
B ? 1/35 Hetzer ~6.6"
C Tamiya 1/48 Stug III ~4"
D ? 1/35 Stug III ~5.6"
since the basic 40k tank is 4.5" long (hull) and 3" wide I think B would be best but they are hard to find and A looks good next to infantry but I think it would be hard to squeeze 4 crewmembers in it. it also looks good my a Russ but only if you consider it to be a light tank and the Russ a heavy rather than the russ a standard (and the smallest in the IG inventory).

So what do you guys think any experience with tamiyas 48s?
