                        I just got my super large 1/350 Enterprise 1701A and it's molded in blue.
                        Whats up with that?

                        Hi Jeff what you've got is a chase kit. PL ran a few in that color to get things set up when casting the kits. Not super rare but they are few in numbers. The window on the bottom of the boxes lets you check the color of the casting without opening the box.

                        I would not open it,I would keep it. In a few years it will be worth at least double by then,maybe triple.I would put in on Ebay it is guaranteed to get a lot of bids,you could make a nice piece of change.At least that is what I would do.
